1. Terms of Use

These Terms of Use define the conditions for using the World of Sea Battle interactive map (the "Site", the "Service"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1.2. Service purpose

The Site provides an interactive map of World of Sea Battle for navigation and finding game objects (cities, ports, resources, forts, etc.). The Service is provided for informational purposes only.

1.3. Disclaimer

  • The Site administration is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or relevance of map data. Data is provided "as is".
  • The Site is not affiliated with the official developers of World of Sea Battle.
  • The administration does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the Site.
  • Users are fully responsible for how they use Site information in the game.

1.4. Map editing

Map editing (creating, updating, deleting markers) is available only to users with administrator rights. The administration may modify or remove any marker without prior notice.

1.5. Prohibited actions

Users must not:

  • attempt unauthorized access to admin functionality;
  • use automated tools for mass data collection;
  • attempt to hack or disrupt the Site;
  • spread malware;
  • use the Site for illegal purposes.

1.6. Changes to terms

The administration may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site means acceptance of updates.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1. General information

This Privacy Policy describes what data is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.

2.2. Data we collect

2.2.1. Data provided by users

During registration, we collect:

  • Email address — used for account identification and login.
  • Password — stored only as a cryptographic hash.

2.2.2. Automatically collected data

  • IP address — used for security and brute-force protection;
  • Timestamps — registration/login/update times;
  • Account type — regular, premium, admin;
  • Failed login records — email, IP, attempts, lock duration.

2.2.3. localStorage data

For convenience, the browser stores:

  • marker highlight settings;
  • map filter state.

This data is stored only in your browser and is not sent to the server.

2.2.4. Cookies

The Site uses the technical cookie PHPSESSID for authentication (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax).

Yandex.Metrika is used to collect visit statistics with anonymized data.

2.3. How we use data

Collected data is used to:

  • provide authentication and dashboard functionality;
  • prevent unauthorized access and brute-force attacks;
  • improve the Site and fix technical issues;
  • comply with legal requirements.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

2.4. Data storage

Passwords are stored only as hashes. Failed-login records are stored for a limited time.

  • request account and related data deletion;
  • stop using the Site at any time.
